How to play Imposter
Playing Imposter is simple and fun. All you need is a group of friends and a willingness to deceive (or detect deception). Here’s how it works:
1. Gather your players
Get together with at least 3 players. The more players you have, the more exciting the game becomes!
2. Everyone gets a word
All players receive the same secret word — except for the imposter, who gets a different (but related) word. Nobody knows who the imposter is!
3. Discuss and question
Players take turns asking each other questions or making statements about their word. The goal is to prove you know the word without giving it away to the imposter.
4. Vote out the imposter
After discussion, everyone votes on who they think the imposter is. If the group correctly identifies the imposter, they win! If not, the imposter wins.
